This was the first time Adam came to my house. He spent a lot of time doing the maintenance job, including hosing down my 2 units. No one before him and many different companies before I switched to AMerican AC has ever hosed down the unit and washed off the dust, considering the outside temperature of 104. Another word, he did not cut corner and just getting thing done, he got it done correctly.

I have used American Conditioned Air for a few years now to service my old unit and recently had Jim install a new system. Even though there were a few bumps in the road, Jim took the time to assess what was needed and resolved the issue quickly! I appreciate Jim and Alfonso's professionalism and for being reliable, friendly and responsive. Thanks again for a job well done!!

Replaced an old system with a new Carrier Infinity heat pump. Installation went smoothly and the system is working as expected. Jim and Alfonso appear to do a great job. The system is expensive, but expect a greatly improved heating and cooling unit. The next few years should decide just how satisfactory the system will be. So far so good.

Alfonso called before arrival and arrived when he said he would. I have an old system and he was very knowledgable and helped me devise a plan moving forward. No pushy sales pitch. Just facts that helped me decide next steps. He showed me pictures of the coils so I know what is going on. This company has always been responsive and reliable.

11May26 - Another great experience with Service Technician, Phil Menager, from American Conditioned Air (ACA) 🤗🤗🤗‼️. Phil performed a 6-month checkup of our Infinite HVAC system. All checked out good. Phil also took the time to address a relatively tiny gas leak at our unit located in our attic space. All’s good on the home front after this service work. Thank you American Conditioned Air. 19Jun25 - Another great experience with the Service Technicians, Fabian Ramirez and Eric Chan, from American Conditioned Air (ACA) 👍👍👍‼️. We have an older HVAC unit and the technicians during their previous inspection suggested we attempt to recharge the unit before requiring its replacement. As the existing refrigerant is R-22 the technicians said if we could buy at least 5 pounds of R-22 they would charge the system for us. Apparently ACA is unable to procure R-22 refrigerant. Procuring R-22 on-line was relatively simple and after receiving the tank ACA’s technicians returned to our home and charged the system. Our Casita is now cooling down and we will not be incurring an expensive replacement cost of our HVSC system. Thanks again ACA for repairing our system at least cost to us. Thank you. And once again another big shoutout to American Conditioned Air and specifically their service technicians Fabian Ramirez and Eric Chen 👍👍👍. Fabian and Eric were able to diagnose our air conditioning challenges very quickly and provide least costly options to get our systems back up and running. As always, American Conditioned Air’s team was very professional and friendly at all times during their inspection process. Another big shoutout to American Conditioned Air and specifically their service tech Alfonso Peralta 👍👍👍. Alfonso performed our 12 month service checkup today, May 8, 2025. As always, Alfonso was extremely professional and took the time to explain what he was doing and results he recorded. My wife and I would strongly recommend American Conditioned Air and Alfonso whenever you have air conditioning issues. Big shoutout to American Conditioned Air and their Team led by Jim Mouser with assistance by Fabian and Alfonso 👍👍👍 for the timely and successful removal of our old HVAC system and installation of a new 5-Ton Courier Infinity HVAC system. All team members displayed a professional and friendly attitude during the work. My wife and I would strongly recommend American Conditioned Air and their Team led by Jim Mouser if you are considering a replacement of your HVAC system in the Tucson / Oro Valley area. 👍 On May 10 Fabian Rameriz and his co-technician, Alfonso, installed a new REME HALO -LED UV filter on our recently installed Carrier HVAC system. As expected, Fabian and Alfonso performed the work in a timely and very professional manner. After completing this task they repaired our mini-split unit serving our garage. Thumbs 👍 up to both for providing such great service. On July 12 Jim Mouser responded to a service call. Jim was able to diagnose the challenge in short order and quickly contacted the office of American Conditioned Air and ordered a replacement part. No hesitation - no questions. What a pleasure to deal with a first rate company and their professional and knowledgeable staff. Great service - great company 👍.

I have had several occasions to use American Conditioned Air for HVAC need including full system replacement a few years ago. They always do excellent work for fair and honest prices. They are prompt. responsive, knowledgeable, and always provide excellent guidance. Update - had A/C units repaired at my son's house and mine. Technician was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. My son had a quote from another company, which was $1,600 more for the same work American Conditioned Air performed, and did it well.

Had Eric Chen as my technician. He was very friendly greeted me with a handshake introduced himself. Listened to me as I explained what I was hearing as I was cleaning around the unit, he explained it’s most likely the capacitor. He checked and sure as all get out it was the capacitor. Checked air flow and cooling ability at vents… inspected inside coil unit. Again when leaving he gave a firm handshake and said give us a call if you have any other issues. Very friendly technician. Very happy with service received today!

American Conditioned Air has the best team! From phone calls to the office, who got me on their schedule easily, to the technician who handled my HVAC system. Jim Mouser came out as quickly as he could to help me with my A/C unit, which would not cool my home. He diagnosed a broken gauge to the coolant and a leak. I showed him the frozen coolant on the point of contact of my furnace. As Jim said, my 26 year old unit had had its last stand. He explained that I needed to replace my system. The R22 coolant was no longer in production, as there are coolants more environmentally friendly now. He gave me several options to replace my unit, and explained each one in detail, answering any questions that I had. I really appreciate American Conditioned Air's commitment to their customers. My AC unit that was just under 5 years old stopped working. I had two different AC companies give me insane quotes saying my warranty had expired, one saying I needed to replace my entire outside unit and the other wanting me to replace both inside and outside pieces. I called American Conditioned Air and the lady who answered listened and recommended I contact the manufacturer to verify. Thanks to her recommendation I have an additional 5 years on my warranty. They came out to inspect my unit and it turns out it can be repaired. American Conditioned Air literally saved me thousands of dollars. All their employees I have dealt with are extremely friendly and what appears to be rare nowadays they are honest. I will only use them going forward.

Alfonso with American Conditioned Air in Tucson was the absolute best. I cannot say enough good things about the guy. I had an AC emergency and he and American Conditioned Air responded immediately when I called. Aubry and Laura were also very helpful and responsive. Alfonso had to order a new part, but knew how to do a “ work around “ so that we had AC! While the new part is ordered. He tried his very best to try and save us money and tried everything he knew how to do, but the new part was needed. His efforts were appreciated! I highly recommend American Conditioned Air and especially Alfonso.

My 5 month old A/C unit quit blowing cool air at 5 pm on a Thursday, with weekend temps predicted to be over 100. Jim fit me into his schedule, came before 9 am the next day, and had my A/C running perfectly again within a half hour (it was just a fuse). Jim has been my technician before, and he always is polite and courteous and does a good job. Thank you! Now I can enjoy my weekend in comfort!

The last three months have been miserable. Our AC would randomly turn off! We had two techs out here at our home to trouble shoot out AC Unit. The owner of American Conditioned Air came out and didn’t notice anything wrong except possibly control panel needed to be changed out..being a Saturday the soonest he could call was on Monday. So he ordered the part and the second tech came out to installed it. Well the same issue persists as the AC unit will stop working and then may turn back on in a day or so! My landlord called again and this time Fabian came out and diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes of being in the house and in the attic. Come to find out didn’t need the new control module.. It was a clogged drainage sensor I believe that is the correct verbiage. Fabian is such a personable and very talented young man! My family is blessed to have someone that is knowledgeable and polite!! If the first tech would have been as thorough as Fabian, maybe the home owner wouldn’t have had to spend an extra $1,500 & we wouldn’t have had to deal with this issue for so long! I’m thankful this company has a talent like Fabian on board!

we've been doing business with American Conditioned Air for over a decade. First as a contractor for one of our clients, and then, based on that excellent service, fro ourselves. We replaced our air conditioner about sevne years ago and have had them service it regularly since with no issues until this weekend. the condensation drain pipe got blocked and the backed up water automatically shut down the compressor. If I knew what the problem was, i could have easily fixed it myself, but I didn't. Fabian figured it out in about 20 seconds, fixed it and then made sure the system was operting properly. It's going to be 106 today, so we're pleased it's fixed!

Jim did are great job. He explained what was needed and got done in a reasonable time frame.

We were having our evaporator coil changed and Fabian, the AC specialist arrived in the morning to work on it. He is a very knowledgeable and hard working individual who is friendly, sociable and honest. He explained what was needed to be done and worked quickly to get our A/C system working again. The evaporator coil was removed from the attic air handler and you could see the rust on the coil. The new coil was installed with some effort and went well. After putting all the pieces together and doing a full check for leaks, the A/C system was operating normally. Overall he work very efficiently and got the job done very well.

This business is Top notch. They came within an hour of when I called. They picked up a new motor for our AC which was under warranty. Thank goodness. We contacted American Conditioned Air based on the recommendation of our neighbor who had a positive experience with them 4 years prior. Jim Mouser came to our home to explain the nuances of a heat pump HVAC system. His presentation was clear and thorough, and he answered all of our question ant that time and in subsequent phone calls. He proved the system satisfied the criteria for a IRS tax credit by showing its factory specs. Moreover, I had him double check my existing 240V line to the roof to make certain it had sufficient amps (60A) to power the compressor and heat strips since every agent from 3 other HVAC companies was adamant that I needed a second 240V line at considerable expense. Moreover, his estimate was $1200 less than the next lowest bid. Jim won our trust and business. Our new heat pump was installed 8 business days after signing the contract. I highly recommend Jim and American Conditioned Air.

I originally talked to Dan about my situation.He was very helpful and a real nice guy.I felt that he was very honest. Then Darrell and Ted came over to my house 2 days later and installed my ac unit on the roof.The outside temperature at this time was over 100 degrees.They replaced the old unit and installed the new one in about 2 hrs.These guys were fantastic and I could not be happier with the process.I would recommend these guys to anyone.I should also mention that I am a lot more comfortable now.Thanks guys.

American Conditioned Air recently installed two Carrier Infinity air conditioner/heater systems at my home and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was fortunate enough to be present at the time of installation, so I was able to observe the process from beginning to end. Jim Mouser's and the assisting technicians' performance was outstandingly confident, capable and professional, while at the same time maintaining an attitude that was polite and understanding when answering any questions that I asked. When the work was done, I was left with installations that are both functioning perfectly and installed correctly. Had a wonderful experience working with their team to address an issue that I'd thought was electrical that ended up being condensation related. My technician was extremely professional, friendly and thorough. You could tell he prided himself on doing the job the right way which is tough to find these days. When I went to make payment, the office staff blew me away with their positive attitude and helpfulness. I will be coming back to these guys for all future needs no questions asked.

They are a small company but they have always been honest and informative when fixing issues. Every time I use their services, I feel like I get my money's worth and never feel robbed, unlike other home services. I definitely recommend them.

Very disappointed with the service my grandmother received. She was given a referral through PCOA to have her swamp cooler fixed (PCOA covered the expense). After fixing the swamp cooler, the water line sprung a leak, they wanted to charge an additional $100 to fix the leak which happened right after they worked on the cooler. The cooler only worked for a matter of a few days after it was "fixed" and it went right back to doing what it was before. Because PCOA was billed almost $1000 for the repair, they will no longer help her. I was told a number of repairs were done but when looking at it the casing doesn't even appear to have been open recently. UPDATE: the company did reach out to me to try to remedy the issue.. by the time they made it out the cooler had already started working again as we had been trying to trouble shoot ourselves. They did say they will fix a belt that didn't appear to be fixed, so over all I am happier with the attempt to make it right, although I'm cautious because I still have concerns it'll just stop working again if the temporary fix we completed ourselves doesn't fix the issue.

I have used these guys for my personal home and they did a fantastic job. I was in distress and they came to the rescue. They installed a new unit for my office. I can’t I can’t say enough good words about this team and company. I will always be loyal to them. They always impressed me with their punctuality and timely service.

Let me start by saying that dealing with a local business that is owned and hands-on-operated by a family makes a huge difference. Employees become an extension of that family and everyone really cares about your experience. Jim, Aubree, Junior, Quincey, Laura - all of you were wonderful to deal with. A great price for high quality Carrier equipment, fantastic service, delivered right on time and exactly as promised is the definition of VALUE. I won't use anyone else from here on out.

Josh and the dispatch came out an diagnosed the furnace issue on the same day I called. Very fair price for a big job. What a difference a little TLC makes. Josh wore a mask while working and explained the work. Highly recommend!

Casey called a couple of hours ahead to confirm the appointment and then was there several minutes early, which I appreciated. Within 10 minutes he was calling again to explain the situation and in less than an hour I was signing off on the completed work! Excellent response, great service and never charging me for more than I need. This is why ACA is in my contacts list. I've used them for years and have been happy every time.

Had a terrible experience with another company and eventually called American Conditioned Air after going almost a week without AC. Got in touch with Josh who is one of their technicians. Josh was out promptly the next day to inspect my AC unit. He had the unit up and running in under an hour, and was extremely professional. Josh was knowledgeable, competent, and explained to me all my options and made sure I was informed about every possible route to fix the issue. I never post reviews, however I cannot recommend this company and specifically Josh enough. Top quality work.

I rent so I did not pay for this service. My air conditioning went out a few weekends ago. The tech, Josh, was literally on his way to my house when the power went out after that bad storm. After the power came back on I called him and he was willing to come out even though it was now 11 at night. He was very nice, polite, and had his mask on when he came to my door. The air conditioning unit is inside my house and was really messed up. It took him almost three hours but he never once complained about the mask or messed with it or tried to take it off (it was incredibly hot too). We sat with the front door open and the screen closed distanced with our masks on talking occasionally while he was working. I would recommend this place even in non-covid times, but I had been incredibly nervous prior to him showing up and there wasn't one issue.

Woke up on a Sunday morning in July with our house at 85 degrees and climbing. Called D&H Conditioned Air and Casey was at our house within a couple of hours, impressive for a holiday weekend. Casey was professional and knowledgeable. We were expecting the worse, that our system would not be salvageable. Casey got us up and running in a short amount of time for a reasonable cost. Very happy with the service provided by D&H and specifically their tech, Casey.

I had a Carrier Infinity® 19VS Central Air Conditioner 24VNA9 installed a week ago and it has exceeded my expectations! The unit is very quiet and seems to cool my house much more efficiently than my older Rheem unit i was using previously. Jim Mouser knows his business well. I was willing to go with a higher SEER unit but Jim assured me that with my particular usage the 19 SEER was the best choice.

Imagine a service that is prompt, professional and trust worthy - and you would have the American Conditioned Air Inc. A realtor suggested them as a go to company for her clients and her personal use, so we immediately called them. A prompt and cheerful introduction started a very helpful call. By the time we were finished we had agreed to have a not to exceed limit applied to the service and if necessary a direct call to my cell if we did exceed the NTE limit in $$. This approach was suggested by the firm since we were out of state at the time. The service was arranged. They were early for the appointment and promptly repaired and provided some additional service to ensure a fully operational AC unit. We got this level of service and we were well under a modest NTE limit. I called back and paid immediately and had my paid receipt by email in minutes.

I can't recommend American Conditioned Air enough! Every step has been easy and every person I've interacted with has been wonderful. We transitioned from a swamp cooler to central AC in June and they offered a competitive price and were able to schedule the installation quickly. The unit was working fantastic until we started a kitchen remodel. We called on the weekend and Jim came out the same day to help us get it up and running again. He was able to identify the problem quickly and had us up and running within just a few minutes AND he didn't even charge us after he found the problem. I was referred to them by a family member and they will be the only company I recommend to people!

We called American Conditioned Air to service our unit and they very quickly sent out a technician. The technician (Dan) looked at the unit and informed us that our unit indeed needed to have Freon put in because we had a leak. He gave us other solutions to repair the unit, but we already knew that it had to be replaced. Dan, then proceeded to inform us as to the best unit to replace the old, taking in consideration how it would best serve the house and cost. We came to an agreement for a replacement and Dan then saw to it that the unit was ordered and installers would be advised when to do the installation. Within a couple of (business) days the unit was in and they made an appointment with us for installation. The installation crew (two men)showed up at the agreed time and proceeded with the work. Darrell, the lead installer, told us exactly what they were going to do and proceeded with their work. They were very efficient and quick. The technician and installers were very polite and easy to talk to. We are very satisfied with their work and we would definitely recommend this company's service.

These folks have been taking care of one of our clients for years. We had them replace our system two years ago, (very happy with that purchase.) This is the first time we had them out to do preventive maintenance. In the interim we had our roof redone. The roofers did not reinstall the sound/vibration insulating blocks. These folks did, adjusted registers, replaced the filter. System is quieter and working great. Professional, responsible, on time, reasonable price What more could you ask for?

I had a couple of clowns come out from another A/C company and they took my unity from part working to not working at all. I then called American Conditioned Air. Jim came round to repair the unit. Within 5 minutes he had analyzed the problem. I watched him do it. Very thorough. He did a temporary patch on the system. However, I decided it was best to get a new, larger (10 ton commercial unit). He really knew his stuff. The sales price was honest, fair, and there were no "up charges". Two days later (due to availability of a crane) the crew showed up with the new unit. Darrel & Ted were the techs. Again, they knew what they were doing (believe me, not so with many other HVAC outfits we have tried). They kept the old unit running to the very last moment to keep the workshop as cold as possible. They trimmed the bushes around the unit, tided up all the weeds, swept away pack rat debris that was inside the old unit. New system looks great, works great. They replaced the disconnect box and the wires from the breaker to the disconnect. All included in the base price. Job was done on time, as promised, and staff were honest, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I believe that 1 year of service is included on the commercial unit. I will certainly only use them for the maintenance on the system. I've had so many bad maintenance experiences on the old unit which contributed to its demise. So, thank you. You earned my business. I'll give 5 stars.

Wow, great experience all around!!! Honesty, integrity, and quality are the first words that come to mind when I think of American Conditioned Air. Darrell came out and gave us an estimate to convert our home from swamp to A/C. He was prompt, professional, friendly, and thorough. He treated my as though we'd know each other for years and he took a personal interest in ensuring we had exactly what we needed. On top of that, his bid was BY FAR the best price in town. I didn't tell Darrell, but I used the components of his bid when calling several competitors in town to ask for their ballpark on the same work. The closest bid was over $2000 higher and went up from there. Once we finally had the funds available to do the work, I had to ask Darrell for a new quote because we'd waited too long and the previous one had expired. Not only did he get it to me within a few days, he worked really hard to ensure he'd given us the best pricing he could. When we called to get the work scheduled, to my surprise the equipment was ordered that day, and our install was on the schedule 2 business days later including some duct work that had to be fabricated. I was expecting weeks, not days, considering it's already getting hot. Debbie in the office handled the billing side of everything and made me feel as though I was talking to an old friend. The work was completed flawlessly and our home was left in perfect condition. I won't go anywhere else for my HVAC needs.

My first contact with American Conditioned Air was with Debbie when I called for an appointment. She was helpful and very cheerful (maybe because it was Friday?) Dan Shivel arrived at the early part of the appointment window and quickly determined the problem. He was able to show me (literally) the part which failed, and had all the material needed to fix it with him. He also checked my furnace (which I had asked him to do in addition for why I had called him.) The price was reasonable, the service was cheerfully done and I would recommend this company without any reservation.

I had been told by another company that when my 11 year old heating and air conditioning unit failed it should just be replaced. I called several companies when it quit working on a hot summer afternoon in Tucson. Only two companies responded. The first person to arrive to give me an estimate was from American Conditioned Air. He looked at the unit, called the repairman who replaced a board and we've been cool and comfortable ever since.

I called American Conditioned Air for a second opinion and they came the same day. Daryl was friendly and helpful and ended up installing two new a/c units in our home. Everything went smoothly and our home is now cool upstairs and down. Just in time for this weekends 115 degree temperatures. I would recommend them to anyone needing heating or coolin repairs. Honest prompt work. Other companies tried to tell me I needed to replace my system for $6000+ or $3000 compressor. They came out and replaced the faulty part, serviced the system and gave me a guess on how long the current system would last. Will use them when I really have to replace the system.

The staff at American Conditioned Air are super responsive and really nice. They offer high quality service and provide explanations that are easy to understand. We've had a contract with them for over 10 years. I highly recommend this heating and cooling system.

Darryl and Ted (a great team) are the best service representatives we have had in our home in over 15 years. They were knowledgeable, courteous, polite and were both team players, working in unison to install a new air conditioner system and new heater system, thermostat in our home. They called to let us know the arrival time, were right on time to start the job, took only 6 1/2 hours (including lunch) to install both units and go through the control system. Any questions we asked were completely explained. Out of a 10 rating we would probably rate them 11's or higher. We have had other dealings with this air conditioning company and they have all been very positive. We are not going to ever call another company again here in Tucson.

I used this company on two of my properties. They were there in a timely manner and finished the job promptly. They gave me a very fair estimate of their service fees and were spot on! Not a penny higher. They serviced 3 units for me in which one was completely down. I was shocked at how low their prices are compared to other estimates I got. They are very honest and dependable. I won't ever call anybody else but them!

I've used this company on 2 properties now and have no complaints. Recently my air conditioner went out over the weekend. I called Monday morning and by that afternoon it was fixed. Jim is honest, prompt, professional, and very informative about problems or maintenance. You can trust this company to identify the problem, and fix it- not do a bunch of extra repairs or take you to the cleaners on things you don't need.
